Oh, credit where due, I found a mottle texture on this persons site and it makes the paint look weathered in one pass. http://www.Torley.com

So how many other roads used them in unit trains like Pacific Fruit Express?

I know the GN potato cars ran as units from Idaho to Chicago.

I'm sticking with the New England roads, beautiful work as always Mike. Love the GN repaint !!*ok*!! It's a great model by Larry!

This is a photo skin. The rest of the car to the left of the rib by the B wasn't in the pic. A quandry: should I just double this side, or try to find another photo?

EDIT: I just went ahead and mirrored it on the other side. Part photo, part art. Done. Of course a single number.
