I didn't realize that Connecticut was so interesting. There are a number of Workshop routes that cover this state. Does the Danbury branch go near Carmel? I have driven around this area before. The cuts for this line are very interesting as well as the small towns it runs by.

Haha I salute you too =). I'm not sure, but I think the Waterbury Branch is somewhere near Mount Carmel... then again I don't know CT that well lol.

I just checked Carmel is due West of Danbury. I checked the map 41.3963°N 73.4493°W. You might have some freight customers out that way. Nice rolling hills and deep valleys (for the North East). This is another "unusual route that would not be built commercially" and for that reason I say Build it! This has some strong steam possibilities to. And its New Haven - everyone loves the New Haven.

Oh man that's cool! I'm considering creating the Beacon line, which links all of the metro north lines, with another developer, but I'm not sure yet. There are surely plenty of possibilities.
