WIP: Fictional CN mountain pass

Unread postby thecanadianrail » Sun Dec 12, 2010 3:21 pm

this route is a fictional route that takes place in a southwestern alberta style of landscape. this route will take a long time because it will be over 100 miles when done and will be highly detailed like the allaboard routes. enjoy these early WIP screenshots.

Good luck on your WIP. I'll be looking forward to running some of my Canadian rolling stock on it. !*brav*!
If God had intended for man to fly, He wouldn't have given us the railroads.

Hey another guy doing a long route. I just hope you have enough stamina to finish it.
I say that because I'm doing a long route myself "Rocky Top Pass". Unfortunately it's very hard to stay tuned to that.
Another thing: Are you using Scalerail or default tracks?
So good luck. !!*ok*!!

for the track i am using the GN track that came with the big horn subdivision. i am shure that i will not give up on this route because i have finnaly got everything i wanted for the route so far. most of the time when someone gives up on a route they have grown tired of it, and on a fictional route you can let your imagination create the route you have alwayse wanted, and that is what i am dooing.
contrary to what i just said, i would actually like more types of stations and western bridges.

Yay! I love those high rises, are those default buildings or something you made yourself?
Oh and trust me: it will not stay with the 5 hours of work to make a detailed route. I haven't counted the hours, but I guess it could come to 1 weeks work added all up to create my first 10 km. And I mean a week calculated on a 24/7 through work basis *!!wink!!*

bad news, my computer had one of those fatal errors that can erase data,(you can guess what i am going to say next) the route got deleted/erased! *!sad!* luckly none of the other routes had any problems. i guess i will start again sometime this month following the same idea. for now i will concentrate on the wild west route. :D
