So i saw some old posts about the amtrak cascades and people wanting a train set repainted to match them, well after downloading this Spanish train set with the Talgo cars i have gotten them to look like this.

Still WIP and trying to figure out why the cars look so low res from a short distance away, other than that they're coming out nicely.

LukRailAmerica has made a Cascade F59PHi repaint too so the two should fit together nicely.

Those low slung Talgo cars look dimunitive compared to the F59PHI, which is a tall looking loco because of its fairings.

Does this Talgo train have the "pig's snout" on its control car?

The original train was the Renfe AVE Serie 130 Image sadly the "wings" weren't made for American trains and thus looks tiny compared with the F59PHI's

The actual cascades has a higher arch style flare on the top of the Talgo cars right after the engine, this is to help blend the talgo cars in with the height of the loco. If you look the cascades up on YouTube you will see what I mean. I do not live in Vancouver but I have seen the train on YouTube. Maybe a child flare can be added to the Talgo cars.

This is semi prototypical as not all Amtrak Sets have the "fins" on the end of the cars. The newer Talgo 8 Sets don't have the "fins" to match the high profile.

I see your point but the fins can be added for the older look as a variant of the cars after the locos. It would make it so the Cascades can have both old and new Talgo cars. Which in your case would be more prototypical.
