ATSF Repaints

Unread postby stationmaster101 » Sat Feb 28, 2015 5:05 pm

Well Since I've been working on the Clovis sub I've also been working on ATSF and BNSF repaints, but every time i seam to repaint something it comes out way too glossy like these examples.

I'm currently using Paint.net to edit the files after i convert them using DXTBmp and RSBinTool.

When you open it back up in DXTBmp make a alpha channel pretty dark gray like about 85% towards black and use it as the alpha before you save it as the dds and that will dull it up. Lighter shiny darker duller.

Alright i spent several hours repainting the GP30 into BNSF colors but I'm having a problem with the numbering system and where the numbers themselves are at on the train, anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah i might just wait for your repaint to be released if it ever does, seams I'm having alot of trouble with mine such as no numbers on the train now.
