Reading & Northern Railroad (Tourist Line) W.I.P.

Unread postby RRman60 » Sun Nov 16, 2014 8:45 pm

Hey everyone. I'm a bit new to RWA and decided I should decide to share my route that I've been working on. It's the Reading & Northern RR (Port Clinton - Jim Thorpe, PA). I only have a bit done but I would like some feedback before I continue further. I know I'm not the best at routes like the people who created routes like "Majestic Falls" and such, but I think the route is okay so far! Anyway, I hope you like it!

I like what I see. Keep going!
Perhaps add more clutter, bushes, etc.
It looks a bit too clean right now.

Much better already.
It looks like someone is actually using the facilities.

Finally got a night free to work on some details past Broad St. crossing. I added the clutter next to the track (which I think there is too much of on the track's side of the road so I'll remove some later), I made the river longer to up to the crossing and finished both bridges. One for the track and one for the road. Again I might be adding a bit more detail and making some tweaks tonight. Hope you guys like it! :D

Happy Thanksgiving all! Been busy this week with family so not much work on the route. I'll try and have some pictures posted over the weekend.

I've been a bit busy playing with the new FEF-3 as you can see, so not much route progress.

I've placed the trees along the river:

and I've started a bit on the Port Clinton yard:

Hi Alex, I just started up with work again after a long hiatus and not any work on the route. I'll be posting a picture later today. I do not unfortunately know when it will be completed. Thank you.

Hey guys. I temporarily lost interest with the project, but I'm back to work on it again. I just needed inspiration. Anyway last night I started Port Clinton's yard. It's not finished of course, and I'll hopefully be finishing the tracks over the weekend, if not today. Hope you guys like it!

I re-aligned some track in the yard, plus added the shed tracks on the right. Since I don't have proper DLC/none made to represent the Port Clinton car barn and station, I had to custom make a car barn and I'm using Sparks Station from the Donner Pass DLC as the station. Only started that just recently so not much detail around the station (paths, trash cans, etc). Hope you guys like it!
