BNSF Brush Subdivision [W.I.P]

Unread postby ColoradoRailfan » Sun Aug 10, 2014 11:58 pm

The Brush Subdivision, running from Denver, Colorado, Northeast to Brush, CO. The railroad was first started by the CB&Q, later merging with GN and becoming BN and the Subdivision became BN, than after the BN and ATSF Merger it became the BNSF. Traffic seen on this line is mostly Coal, but some manifest freights come and there are 2 Daily Z Trains that head East to Brush and on, and West. Amtrak's #5 and #6 Californian Zephyr's operate daily on this line too. Being able to have this line being made in
Train Simulator 2014 is fantastic, here are pics of the route as its progressing.

Here we are at 31st St. Yard in Denver as a Z Train Pulls out onto the Main:

Then we see Amtrak #6 passing over the Diamond were it intersects with the UP Greeley Sub. (yes i know the Searchlight signal is green and should be red)

I have not had the track to goto Union Station yet, but I am thinking if I should do the new one that was built this year, or the old one. If I do the New one then someone will have to build it for me, I have seen a few builders in here so everyone are all welcome!

Just to clarify, you do know that BN was actually created from the CB&Q / GN / NP merger right?

Looking good. I have a beta version of this route for MSTS and that project looks to have been abandoned so I'm looking forward to running this one. Having never been anywhere near Colorado I found this video most informative.

How far east will your route go?
