P&LE Final and Connellsville to Baltimore

After a Computer crash and My father passing away back in April I am going to modernize and finish the P&LE route to Youngstown, Ohio
The Connellsville to Baltimore route will be finished but at a later date
the section between Brownsville to McKeesport has been reworked (CSX) mainly changing signals and removing tracks
Brownsville to Monongahela (NS) WIP

To bring some of this up to speed
I am working from Monongahela to Shire Oaks Yard which was named incorrectly as Elrama yard
hopefully I will not have to redo the entire yard

Hopefully this will make sense
CSX Mainline and the P&LE route was done by hand (No Google maps tracing via decals was used) hence it is nowhere near 100% accurate
Connellsville to Baltimore used RWDecals from Google earth using 2005 map overlay trying to be accurate as possible
the C&B route is an expanded version of the CSX Mainline route in both directions where the CSX Mainline routed ended at both ends
I am expanding in both directions
the route will end in Baltimore
Because of hard drive failure in old computer I am putting the C&B route on hold until further notice
It will be finished
in the mean time I am working on my P&LE route and modernizing it

I hope that all with go excellent for you on this. I have to admit you have taken on a large task. I have your older version installed and wrote a few personal scenarios for the route. The Monongahela River was always a big interest to me. back in the 80's there was alot of train watching for my point and especially fishing in Monongahela Pa. If I may request, can you make the 84 mine extension? that is the spur line just south of Monongahela Pa. If I can remember the line is about 5 miles long and services CONSOL's 84 mine which is now idol. back then I would sometimes see Conrail working the branch switching out hoppers for the mine. The Mathies Mine was always a big interest and so was the prep plant. wow, old memories. sorry got a bit off topic.

So let me get this straight. The C to B is as real as you can get it,(I'm using Google Earth too for my route) the CSX Mainline and PL&E are freehand and fantasy
It makes sense but I am surprised at the PL&E route cause Bailey Yard looks real and a few other things in the route look real too. I compared it to Google earth. So by modernizing PL&E do you mean making it as real as you can get? Anyway awesome work and thanks for all you do for the community.

The CSX and P&LE are real the base line for the tracks are real they were traced on to the ground by markers
example CSX Mainline there is no Potomac Yard it was torn up in 95 I used an old map and planted markers as to where the general layout of the yard was
Same goes with the P&LE
some yards and steal plants are no longer where they were
once again I used old maps to show where they were

OK I get it!

Yea i looked up the Potomic Yard and saw that it was tore up,but it still is nice to have!

PS you can still see the Potomac Yard in Google Earth
Green button top row somewhere in the middle is the time slider
go to 1988 and it will show up
