Union Pacific Express boxcars

Railroads, before UPS and Fed Ex, competed for less than carload express deliveries. Since these cars were run in passenger trains at the head end, delivery times across the US were far faster than trucks or other methods. These cars were equipped with car heat steam lines and passenger brakes.

Here are two 50 footers, one with a 9 foot single door and one with a 6/9 foot double door combo. GreatNortherner based freeware. Uploading today
