Built in the late 70s and still running around today, working on the FMC version of a 50ft Plate B exterior post single door boxcar.

There had to be dozens of shortlines, most of them obscure and now forgotten, who ran fleets of these as IPD cars. It was a colourful counterpoint to what was otherwise a fairly depressing era in U.S. railroading. This one will have keep th repaintrs busy for a while. :D

Hopefully I can make it repaint friendly. I am definitely open to suggestions in that regard.

I would suggest that you look at the repaint template for GreatNortherners PS1 boxcars, and see how it is laid out. It is without a doubt the easiest I've ever worked with.

Secondarily, have all the labels and lading information on a double sized alpha dropout decal sheet, then reduce to size when used. It makes for very clear and easily edited data.

The model looks great, And I'll enjoy working with it.
