Roanoke Shops

Unread postby dogrokket » Thu Jan 23, 2014 3:08 pm

Hi all,
I started working on my first route... Roanoke VA. If you've ever been to Roanoke, you've seen the star on Mill Mt. This was one of my first blender scenery object attempts. I managed to use a day and a night texture set, making the star glow at night with 'Tex' and not glow in the day time with 'TrDiff'. Exporting from blender to TS is a bit of a learning curve, since it involves piecing together a lot of scattered information (most of it dealing with an older version of blender), but it can be done!

Got the night textures done... Now it's time to figure out all the LODs with the blender exporter.
