Tonight I had a very good experience with the Bergen. My second run with the new 64bit.
Very smooth, high fps, good graphics with only a couple of "soft" stutters in more than half an hour of driving. Stutters caused by sudden transfers from front or cab view to rear of train.
With instructions from my friend AmericanSteam I added the Railworks64 to the Nvidia 3D Settings. I don´t know if this is doing something noticeable, but I enjoyed the way the graphics looked in that Bergen run.

I had an issue however. My three front locos uncoupled during a strong brake before Tuxedo station in direction to Croxton.
I am sure this has nothing to do with the route or 64 bit but the weird thing is the uncoupling happened between two identical BNSF Gevo´s.
But I could not re-couple again. I went backwards at low speed and the stopped train suddenly accelerated when I moved the three front locos to within 20 ft or so of the stopping consist (with a fourth loco in front and a tail loco behind the consist). Not a problem other than loosing the session.

Minerman,

TS being 64-bit now makes your route playable and without worry of crashes. And after having played your route, it’s pure joy being to run such a beautifully crafted route.

Rarecommonsense, Its great to see so many people coming back to the Bergen and hearing that its now playable for them. You have been a loyal subscriber for a very long time as well. Thank you for your support here, Steam and the DTG site. Your comments don't go unnoticed by me. !*salute*!

Just to add my 2¢, I've had 4-5 short runs so far and the lag and stutter is mostly gone. RAM usage seems to be around 5.5 Gb so the new RAM I installed last week and the 64 bit update have teamed up well. My Sandy Bridge CPU and 750 video card are old tech but performing well. Good frame rates where I have had them in the past, ok frame rates where I had stutters in the past and no crashes. I took some screen shots then apparently deleted the whole folder. Senility is knocking. :)
Sometime this weekend I will do a run from Hoboken to Campbell Hall with all that AI and see what happens.

I noticed a slight grammatical error, in my comment. But, I know you knew what I meant (Worry-Free). And yes, of course, you will always have my support.

Checking in to post my experience:

Until the 64 bit update, I wasn't able to run the included Quick Drive scenarios (caused by instant dump crashes) but was able to create my own QD scenarios, without AI, from Hoboken to Suffern and Suffern to Hoboken.

With the new update, I am able to run the included northbound commuter QD scenario from Hoboken to Suffern without any problems whatsoever! But now I can't run southbound. If I try to do the included southbound commuter QD scenario, the game crashes back to the Quick Drive menu with an error message about being unable to load the Quick Drive scenario. If I try to do my custom QD south, the scenario loads, but upon loading, I immediately get a scenario error message that the game is unable to find the waypoints I set... for example, it says it's unable to find Mahwah Platform 2, Ramsey Platform 2, etc. Even after re-creating my custom scenario, after the update, I'm still getting the error. If I go into the scenario editor and remap my routing, I still get the error message.

Does anyone have any insight?

mjlevy1118:
That message occurs if the QD is missing or, less likely, corrupted. On my end, that occurs if I don't refresh TS, and I end up clicking on a scenario I just deleted. From the TS side, this means that either your didn't get a route update, or if you did, the download was corrupted.

SOLUTION: Delete the Contents of the route folder for the Bergen ( you can copy out your own QD and put them back) This is the path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\19b667f7-2759-49e0-93d8-4dadc470bceb

This worked perfectly, thank you!

Minerman, what I enjoy most about this route is how true it feels. There's a way you put it together that takes it a step beyond most others in terms of lending an authentic atmosphere. Still having fun exploring!

Hello
Route runs great on 64 bit. Have a question on QD Waldwick to Hoboken commuter east. It puts me on center track so I can’t make stops at Waldwick and Ho-Ho-Kus. Is that something easy to fix, to use outside track for those two stops and perhaps Ridgewood too?

Pwelt: Request Granted. And added some interest to the run.
