I'm back with a little progress on the cab interior. Here are pictures with and without the cab shell

It's really frustrating modelling all of the features of the cab just by looking at pictures, I'm pretty much like **!!bang!!** !*hp*! the entire time. This is why it's taking so long between updates, I'm sorry for such little progress in between updates !!**sorry**!!

Measure twice draw once. No problem on the time. We are not in any hurry.

This RS-3 is really coming along. The detail is very rich and I admire your skill.

Is the locomotive gauged right? We don't want a beautiful RS-3 that's too big for the tracks. !**duh*!!

I think it is. Because when I was trying to make a test freight car with the previous trucks that were gauged correctly based on what blender was telling me, the trucks looked like they were narrow gauge inside the game. It's going to take a lot of trial and error for the trucks. I also don't want the engine to be ruined by out of gauge trucks.

I've been keeping up with your project ever since you first posted this thread. Your engine is stunning and I'm already eyeing a few repaint candidates. **!!bow!!**

Here's a small update (unfortunately)

The brake wheel that you can see is a place holder from an old project I was working on a few years ago.
Silverton RR #100 Render.jpg

I stopped working on the steam engine because I simply lost interest in it. When I was modeling this, my skills weren't that great (they still aren't); if you look at the drive wheels you can see the lack of skill I had. I'm sure I could probably rework the entire model, but I'm not sure if it's worth it because I have a couple more diesels I want to model after the RS3s are done. Let me know what I should do. Although considering the lack of both freeware and payware US steam I think I already know the answer *!!wink!!* *!!wink!!* *!lol!* *!lol!*

that steam engine is nice make it! No in all seriousness it would be cool to have that but I think narrow gauge diesels are needed we don't even have one payware one
