Adam, don't forget to do an external back up by Wednesday night, just in case something happens on Thursday when we go live with TS2016.

I backup every single night - I don't want to risk my baby!
I am very curious what is going to happen with the upgrade to Sherman Hill.

Probably the same thing that happened when they fixed Donner Pass. The (new) updated route will replace the old route. I fearlessly predict that it will all be scenery and such so it doesn't mess up any of the scenarios that have been written for it. I have no first hand knowledge of this.

If this works - its a blessing for the Bergen Line. My base rail will be upgraded to 2016.
If not - I am toast.

Exactly what, on the Sherman Hill route, is being updated for TS2016 is anyone's guess, I just hope that whatever it is it enables the community to carry on playing on it, according to Workshop there are 577 entries under SH, presumably scenarios and other route spin offs, so, if DTG mess it up there are going to be an awful lot of unhappy folks about.

Just make sure you have it backed up to safe place where Steam won't be messing with it. Even if there were a track change which I doubt there is a method using RWTools to make a mass track change. I have changed a couple of routes over to ScaleRail using this method so I know it works.

Image Update: Work is progressing on Croxton yard. The yards is 2 parts: Intermodal yard and what I am working on this week, the freight yard. Croxton is over 3 miles long - this is the big mamma for the Bergen. Scenery is deep - up to 5000 feet from the track. I counted 50 warehouses so far in place.

If anyone else is curious about the route and were to find it. Please go to the very first post on page 1 of this very thread! !!*ok*!!
Also - I would like to assure all new and current subscribers alike - The Bergen Line is very well appointed.
Do avail yourself of the lovely tennis courts of Harmon Cove Towers in Secaucus, NJ. (Its minutes from the Train - of course!)

Anyone interested in rental information please visit the Harmon Cove Towers website here:

Boy, Secaucus has come a long way! I can remember driving down the Parkway, on a hot summer day, and have the lovely aroma of the pig farms. If anyone is a pig farmer, my apologies, but geeszh .

I am still trying to pin down the 'funk' in Hoboken. Diesel, Grease, some river, some marsh and some sewage. Now in the summer that would cook up into SOME kind of brew that just captures North Jersey.

Bill, my dad told me about that pig smell - come to think about it - it was so bad - it still stinks of pig 40 years later!
(I slopped pigs, I'm in the know)
