!*salute*!

Great job! I wouldn't worry about the patched versions. The sooner I can get my hands on these the better!

The black on the Sultran and Proccor cars seems too white/bleached from what they look like in real life, from my experience with working with these cars is that they should be much darker than what you have.

Actually to get the color I took it off the cars. But it might be on the light side but that makes it easier to see the details. It also could be the settings on your monitor versus mine.

They look very nice for those liveries and an update from my testing so far! They pull and track very nicely! Very detailed models and very accurate looking textures to what I have seen. A very well done pack Bryan! I'll have to agree with Bryan in the darkness of the black on the cars. If it is as dark as you say it is supposed to be, this will tone down the effects of the model itself and you will no longer see the details that the model itself has. Did you get the virtical Sultran livery from my YouTube video by chance? Cause I'd say you got the livery styling spot on! Very well done!

The Sultran cars are a semi-glossy black when new, but they fade & weather quickly. The color they are now is ideal in my opinion.

I have done done one test recently and found that they have a figh friction resistance, Bryan is looking into this by do a comparison test with one of micheal's 100ton gondolas to see if there is in fact too much resistance on the gondolas Bryan is finishing up. We stumbled apron this when I stalled on a 2.2% grade pulling 9 gondolas with two SD40-2s. And Bryan test pulled 100 of the gondolas and it took 7 GP9s just to pull them! We will test this further and let you know the results as soon as we find out. Bran is running tests comparing the two sets on even terms. A pulling comparison to see how many GP9s are needed to pull 100 of each car. I will be away from my computer for a few days and will resume the tests when I get back.

In my opinion the 100T cars always seemed to pull a little bit 'light'. That said, in my scenarios I like to have the train struggling to make it over the grade.

I figured out that the cars in quick drive have a loaded weight by default but the loads don't show up in quick drive that's why it took 7 GP9's the cars were loaded although they appeared empty. The load is in a different folder than the cars so when it's checked in the editor the loads show up. I also found a copy of the 1986 CP operating rules and it says maximum powered axles from Rodgers to Glacier is 36 (1986 is 2 years before the low grade line opened) else where it's 24 helpers where added at Rodgers to assist trains. So I'm just finishing hauling 100 loaded cars with 6 SD40-2s up the grade even in notch 8 at one point I was losing speed. For my pulling tests I had an SD70M pulling 15 loaded cars and the gondolas were a little quicker than the 100t hoppers just because the gondolas are 263,000 pound cars and the 100t are 286,000 pound cars. So Andrew I'm wondering if your test where you stalled was a glitch or something.

I'm not sure it may also be because I wasn't paying attention to the grade when it increased to 2.2 and I may have applied full throttle too late. But other than that they pull like a charm. I placed them in the test scenario, loaded them and placed the engines to run them then I did a run around maanuver then couple back up and proceeded down up the line. By the time I realized I need more power it was too late, my original plan was to pull them into the siding then stop and end the test so it may be driver error. That was my first time on the the route going that direction. I had previously went to the sawmill near Lilloette. I was essentially driving the route blind. But I found the scenery and track layout to be a perfect testing ground for this style of test. The route climbs up and out of the Fraser Valley with lots of twists and turns in it.

Great work BCBuhler and all that helped you with this car! I just spent an hour trying it out on the CMP route, and I am very impressed!

My tests have been completed and I have results of the cars being very accurate to the real thing I decided to knock my last test off because of driver error stalling my train. They roll very nicely, I'll rerun my failed test but feel free to upload them Byan! I enjoy pulling them with by current CP roster! I even have the Olympic unit! This can be found on trainsim.com under Railsimulator by Kuju. If you are wondering how to get it.
