Screenshots look nice, but I won't be going anywhere near this route: my computers are 0tt0-free zones.

My track rule is OTTO's. I had a route crash awhile back and my track rule changed on me from Regular OTTO's to SR Otto's Drk Gray if this makes sense. I hope this fixes it.

One of the biggest problems I have with addons made in the community is the amount of downloads you have to do.

Firstly I won't be downloading additional stuff to operate other routes.

The routes I make have the lowest amount of downloads necessary and no after market addons making it difficult to get it up an running.

I use Steam workshop and find that it helps get content out without headaches to people wanting to use your routes.

I like KISS. Keep it simple stupid. I sum it up like this. It takes time and how much time do you want to spend to get a route on your PC?

Screenshots look great keep up the great work. As long as you enjoy it then that is the main thing.

Daniel

Daniel,

The problem with the steam WS is that you can't really use any freeware to upload a route. The point of making a freeware route is so everybody can use it without a ton of payware. Remember there are alot of people who love this game and can't afford a ton of DLC. One thing I learned it to use more freeware. I started with alot of payware but now use as much freeware as possible. Remember you can make a freeware route but for some people it isn't free because they don't have the DLC's. So go ahead and use the steam WS but remember not everybody will be able to run your route cause they don't have the DLC. Also if you don't want to DL the freeware then nobody is telling you to. I am telling you this. You are missing out on the BEST routes for the game.

This looks amazing! It makes me want to get back to work on my Norfolk Southern route. That pesky college is getting in the way though. Who needs education anyway?

ALL ROUTES require payware to run, regardless of whether they are pay or freeware. If you say you're one for making routes away from Steam Workshop with mostly freeware assets, then what's that giant list of payware routes, 11 of which are on Steam? Buying all of those at normal price would cost over $400.

When I started the route I was more of a rookie and really didn't know what was payware and what was freeware. Now that I am more seasoned in this game I know the difference. If you get the payware when steam has its sales it is a fraction of that price. Or some DLC you can buy from the Russian Steam Store and it will work. It depends on the DLC. Some you can get !!*ok*!! some you can't. !*not-ok*! I save so I can buy when it is on sale. I spent 200.00 during the summer blowout and got sooo much for my money. Patients is a virtue when it comes to this game.
