I saw you working on an EL repaint you're just conflicted!
*!greengrin!*
Think of the Penn Central as the world's first rail oriented criminal organization. And lastly look carefully at the intertwined p and c logo....mating snakes man!

Route is gorgeous, makes me homesick for New Jersey. Thanks again.

Although I have never lived in New Jersey, I agree.

Mainlines - you KNOW I am loving what your picking out in your shots. Your getting all that personal detail - that bridge every board is individual and it looks just like the one that is there too.

Its been a lot of fun doing this. I just finished up Secaucus, now I am waiting for Kris. Oh, gosh I am only at MP54 with the signal signs - forgot about that. I' ll get to that.

I want to say that I am done - I don't want to do any more. And I don't need to do any more, which is a good thing.

Mainlines you will have one more run to do in Secaucus - next week. Remember how I kept bugging you for 1960s - 70s- refers? The route now has over 25 slots for just food. And you are the man with the refers!

Carry on!

Oooooo, look what showed up for me to help QC tonight.
Looks like a GE U33C, in Croxton!

Maybe he will do the EL one I have been begging a year for!

Carry on.

Hm yes foreign power...

But in case the U-boat is a while away, at least I have this coming as a side bit coming along in tandem with my PC pack. :D

(For some reason whenever I come back to this thread I always feel invigorated to get back to work on it, I wonder why...)

Already in the layers for it, the pack will consist of a lightly weathered EL version, and a heavy weathered CR patch. I can also make a heavy weathered EL one if anyone wants that.

The reason this is going so slowly however is because it's not just a dip job and a logo lol, so I have to line everything up with the gray and black, while also figuring out the mapping itself.

Not necessary as the EL actually cleaned their motive power!
(unlike some other railroad) *!greengrin!*

PS when you get closer I will send you numbers and font.

Heh, Mainlines. It is for that shot - I did that farm. Bravo sir.

You waited the whole week and here it comes. This is the peerless Wednesday Route Report and Update Status for this Friday, May 28th, 2021.

This week's update status.

[ ] C'mon man!
[ ] uh, the thing, you know the thing
[ X ] Best.Update.Evah!

Tonight's opera interlude is Song to the Moon" from Antonin Dvorak's opera, Rusalka sung by Anna Neterebko. It's all about the lyrics. I strongly recommend Dvorak's The Symphony No. 9 in E minor, "From the New World". One of my favorites.

When I am not otherwise occupied in my smoking jacket entertaining some of the finest beauties the world has to offer, I do work on the route. And work I have. My Secacus "merchants lead" is done, I am up to MP 77 on my signal places and Kris120 is done, in the next few hours, with the signals.

As so, this Friday's update will conclude any further scenery, track and signal work. My opus is complete. After 'burn in' by myself and the rest of you deplorables we can release to final barring any unforeseen issues.

Contingency plan: if by some reason I am killed, captured or run off with a Las Vegas Chorus line, you are to disavow any knowledge of my existence. Minerman the younger has implicit instructions on what to do in this event. 1. Release the route 2. Not tell his mother.

Remember - always have a plan, even when your going to the John.
Carry on!
