Looking great. I can imagine your scenery would look like this video. WARNING very long cab ride.

Thats the plan once the finer details go in !!*ok*!!
There used to be a cabride vid of Field to Golden on youtube but it got taken down.
Here's a few more shots of the area i've been working on lately.

Second tree to the left in the first image needs to be move 40-feet eastward. Other than that, I think it's perfect. *!lol!*

In all seriousness, that is some stunning work! !!*ok*!!
Cheers!

Cheers Hack !!*ok*!!
It's coming along nicely now BNEdward. I've just been quietly working away on it trying out different things to see what looks best etc.
I've decided that the best way to finish the line now is in stages so the first stage will be Golden to Field, then Field to Lake Louise and finally Lake Louise to Banff.
The track is 100% done for the full route although i reset the DEM to change a couple of bits i wasn't happy with.
Here's some wip pics to keep you all going for now :D

also what your plan for mount mcdonald tunnel & mount Shaughnessy tunnel will you be having lights in tunnels? if so my advice is look in to making track tunnel object with lights added in. that way it easy to lay down. and you don't have to go back and set and place lights one by one the langht of tunnel. it took me day to do that. and it dosen't hurt fps in game well it didn't for me anyway.

The furthest west I'm going with the mountain sub is KC Junction just outside Golden. The only big tunnels I have are the two spiral tunnels.
The mountain sub up Rodgers Pass will be for someone else to do. I just don't have the time to extend the route that far.

Wow, looking great so far! I loved operating on the Laggan Sub since way back in the MSTS/KHP days...looking forward to having the chance again in Rail Simulator!

So between which points are you doing the route? Golden - Bannf? Or the entire line of the two subdivisions from Revelstoke, BC to Calgary?

Either way great work! !!*ok*!!

The route runs from Golden to Banff. It's basically kicking horse pass then the spiral tunnels.
