The reason I included the EL in the dcsv file even though it is not mapped to the car is so the TS20XX uncoupling display shows the car's full reporting mark.

Quality repaint of a quality model. Thanks to you both.

All of the credit goes to Larry. This is such a easy model to paint. Love it. Going to do some weathering shortly which I hope will add another dimension but wanted to do some of the more stand out from the golden age first. Waiting for Larry to add the sixth number requested for some of them.

Not exactly politically correct but nice.

I have a new version of the Superior car that corrects this problem and will be uploading it shortly. If anyone needs it right away send me a PM.

Larry,
Did you upload the corrected Superior door version of this car? I would like to do some reskins. Also, what's the status of the double-door version?

Thanks for the reminder. I think the Superior door car is ready to go so I should be able to upload it today. I need to look at the double door version a little more closely but hopefully it will be soon.

Usage of WJ Sounds

Unread postby kris120 » Thu Oct 29, 2020 7:39 am

Hello everybody, but specially to all repainters,
I have noticed that nearby all wagons use WJ Sounds (Krellnuts) in the wrong way:

Code: Select all
<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">WJ Sound</Provider>
                                 <Product d:type="cDeltaString">Wagons</Product>
                              </iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
                           </BlueprintSetID>
                           <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Audio\Wagon Freight Sound.xml</BlueprintID>

This works only in standard and freeroam scenarios as you can tick "WJ Sound\Wagons".

In Quickdrive this does not work !

You have to place a copy of "Wagon Freight Sound.bin" under "MaineLines\RailVehicles\", I suggest the following place, like I have used (this does not cahange anything on the other sounds in MainLines\ ) :
MaineLines\RailVehicles\Audio\Wagon Freight Sound.bin

You can use these sounds in your wagon blueprint like that:

Code: Select all
<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">MainLines</Provider>
                                 <Product d:type="cDeltaString">RailVehicles</Product>
                              </iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
                           </BlueprintSetID>
                           <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Audio\Wagon Freight Sound.xml</BlueprintID>

I am thinking about publishing a patch for all the fantastic wagons you have created so far if you wish.

Thanks to Mainlines, Buzz Baxter, Harry R. Adkins, Larry Goss, Rick KFourty and all the other repainters here.
