Hi,

Blender is a 3d Modeling and Animation program that is open source and free. So, you can make 3d Models for RailWorks without buying any program. It is tricky at first but it is worth it to learn. Blender uses Python for scripting, so you would need to get the correct versions.

You can get Blender 2.49 here- http://www.blender.org/
Python 2.6 here- http://python.org/download/releases/2.6.6/
Bigex- The currently only available Blender exporter here- http://www.rail-sim.de/railsimnew/index ... oad/36/341

I take it you must have some sort of image editing program, if not you can get GIMP. http://www.gimp.org/

If you do want to make models, start very simply, for example, a sign post, and work your way up with difficulty and complexity.

Hiya, still improving the model.

The under-bar on the body has had a small change, and the trucks have had their (I think air compressors) replaced with a much more realistic one.

I do think I have a few more things on the trucks to do and then I'll be done and happy with the model. Perfectionists. *!rolleyes!*

I love it. !*brav*!

Maybe bobbel66 wants to do some liveries. It's crazy what a number of repaints he has released over the last days. !*don-know!* *!greengrin!*
I must say his repaints are absolutely great.

(I don't know what experience you have with doing repaints. !**conf**! )
