Same here, merged the folder, setting up quick drive and they show up in the list, but nothing is displayed in the preview window.

The bin files are goofed up. I was one of the beta testers back last Summer. We should wait for Roy to raise his head and let him fix the files. There is a naming issue in the bins. The bright yellow one is from the beta and the darker one is current.

I dragged the assets into my RW folder, and these cars don't show up for me as well.

I'll look into this tonight.
The only thing different from the beta is the paint and numbers.
I'll check the bin and make sure i've not left a space in somewhere or something is pointing the wrong way.
How did you get it to work Buzz?

A big thank you to Buzz who had found and fixed the problem before i'd even got home from work !!*ok*!!
A couple of lines in the bin are pointing to the beta model so it's messed it up for you guys that don't have that.
If you can't wait for the fix to be uploaded you can change the bin yourself.

look for these lines;
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Freight\TTUXFrontrunner\Bogey.xml</BlueprintID>
<GeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">thebigroyboyski\RailVehicles\Freight\TTUXFrontrunner\[00]Frontrunner</GeometryID>
<CollisionGeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">thebigroyboyski\RailVehicles\TTUXFrontrunner\[00]Frontrunner</CollisionGeometryID>

and change them to the wagons number.
Unloaded example;
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Freight\TTOXFrontrunner121073\Bogey.xml</BlueprintID>
<GeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">thebigroyboyski\RailVehicles\Freight\TTOXFrontrunner121073\[00]Frontrunner</GeometryID>
<CollisionGeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">thebigroyboyski\RailVehicles\TTOXFrontrunner121073\[00]Frontrunner</CollisionGeometryID>

Loaded example;
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Freight\TTOXFrontrunner121073 Loaded\Bogey.xml</BlueprintID>
<GeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">thebigroyboyski\RailVehicles\Freight\TTOXFrontrunner121073 Loaded\[00]Frontrunner</GeometryID>
<CollisionGeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">thebigroyboyski\RailVehicles\TTOXFrontrunner121073 Loaded\[00]Frontrunner</CollisionGeometryID>

Sorry for the problem everyone.
Once the fix is uploaded I'll let you know.

Hello, all.

I am not new to train simulation, but I am very new to this community. in fact I just signed up today. I was checking out the file library as I have been desperately seeking a 53 foot american trailer on a flat car (TOFC) and came across this Frontrunner. It looks really cool, though i have never seen anything like this in real life. however, s I am new to manually installing mods, i am hoping someone can help me find what it is I did so horribly wrong that i broke this mod.

Here are the steps that I have taken:

  1. Downloaded and installed Railworks Community Asset Project v2.09.29.13
  2. Attempted to install Frontrunner using the installer. The installer is absol;utely not compatible with Windows 10, as it always starts to install, but gets to a point where the installer says it is installing "...Ga..\Wagon" and then I get the windows error message saying the installer quit working, then it shuts it down.
  3. Since the installer is definitely not compatible with Windows 10, I chose the manual install method of dragging the assets manually.

So, basically, install RWCAP V2 and drag the Frontrunner into the assets folder. That is all that is needed, right? I see the Frontrunner just fine in the game, but no trailers appear on it. They are all empty. I saw the post above about making changes to a bin, but after that it states the files were updated in the library, so i need not make those changes.

Any other ideas as to what I can do to make the trailers appear on these trailers so that I may check them out?

My other guess is that they may be simply incompatible with TS2018, since these were meant for a MUCH older train simulator. However viewers of my stream (I stream Train Sim on YouTube) told me to give these a try and that they should work, but my guess is they are outdated now?

Either way. I give kudos and many thanks to the mod author for at least making them.

I think you just have to use the "Loaded" version of each car.

In the scenario editor when placing them down, double click on the car, then a flyout window should appear on the right of the screen. There will be a little symbol of a container on a flatcar with a box next to it. Tick the box and the load should appear.

What type of scenario are you trying to run these in?

I would also like to ask, since these cars don't have sound when they are in motion, how do I alias Krellnut's sounds to this?
