Welcome back Mike - I was hoping that this Plate C wouldn't languish in the File Library for too long. I tried to make the brakewheel on this one a little easier to repaint.

Actually that is just the phototexture that I will be using as a reference to decorate the model.

That's great to hear Mike!

I've probably spent way too much time looking at these cars, but have noticed that the Yreka Western cars were plate C with offset double doors, the Western Pacific were plate B with centered double doors, and Southern Pacific cars were plate C with centered double doors.

Mike, are you sure S.P. had those? I was just looking around at FMC S.P. double door boxcar Google images and all I could find was combo doors and double doors that were centered on the car body. The S.P. double door cars that were offset looked like a different manufacturer and still had catwalks on the roofs. (Maybe Plate B from the 50s?)
I couldn't find a single image of a FMC offset double door, plate C car in S.P. colors.
