B-24_LIBERATOR wrote:INFO:This is a rework of the original Bauer Logging Co. found on the C&O Allegheny. It will be released separate of the route and requires quite a few payware assets found in the following routes:

Horseshoe Curve
Donner Pass
Durango & Silverton
Portland Terminal
Colten & Northern

Recommended rolling stock:

Britkits logging pack
Great Northern's steam era freight cars
Smokeboxes' Consolidation

I don't see the Britkits Logging pack. It talks about some logging rolling stock with the Vulcan and a Logging Mega pack which has the two Shay's and the Vulcan.
I'm just curious which is required. Thanks!

I am hoping against all hope that the announcement of the new TS2014 and its imminent release wont have a material impact on routes under development, namely this and the New Haven. When ever there seems to have been an update to the program core, route building tends to have suffered niggly little issues.

Fingers crossed.

That aside, B-24, you have been very remiss in not posting anything of this stunner in a week *!lol!* How are we to get through the wait !*roll-laugh*!

Last time Railworks updated I had to completely restart work on this route, although not a bad thing then as my route editing skills were still improving, I think they're pretty good now and the route doesn't need to be wiped clean *!lol!*

I apologize for not posting much as I've been involved in the restoration of a 1939 C-40-1 Southern Pacific caboose these past few weeks, along with some Jeep troubles, skinning for Rise of Flight, and most importantly waiting for the assets for the community route from mdurdan so I can implement them into the currently Bauer Logging Co. gonna be some cool suprises :D

*!lol!* Fingers crossed all round it doesn't come to a rebuild....

Have you seen the shacks and sheds and dioramas from Ken Long over on UKTS? Some great looking little wooden sheds and shacks etc.

Shall just sit here patiently....

Liberator

These two locos (2-8-0 and 4-4-0) are Ceckerr Selkirks original designs, correct? Neither of my versions of the two locos have a bell. Does Joe's repaints have the bell sound? I sure would like to add a bell to my copies.

No it's just the skin, although if you take the whistle off the class C Shay and use it for them it fits pretty nicely. !!*ok*!!

Cheers thanks - that will keep me going for a few more days *!lol!*

Disappointed about the glowing sheds and shacks - I thought the issue of the glowing assets had been fixed about 2 versions of RW ago? I wonder if it is worth taking up with the developer? The 4-4-0 looks good, but for my mind, nothing says logging like a Shay *!!wink!!*
