I finally got a few hours to work on the route and have over 3/4 the track layed now.
I also got 3d crafter so i can build some custom assets for the route. I just need to learn how to work it first :D
Here's the map so far,

Thats all of the mainline track layed now except for a couple of sidings. After laying about 40 miles of track in a night i thought i'd try my hand at roads.

This is the last corner on the line with only about a mile till the track stops. This will be the likely starting point for west bound trains on the outskirts of Banff.

Looks great, but one thing you should do is change the distance at which the blue haze is seen at, make it farther out, at least 3 times further

Yip the AC44s are badly needed and CP seems to use a lot of the CEFX ones, cough cough NATE!!!! cough cough. I'll also need SD90s and if I turn the clock back some big red barns. I thought about repainting the SD60F as the bodies are near identical but it has a double windscreen instead of a three windows.
If I ever get any good with 3D crafter then sometime in the distant future I might try a loco.

It's surprisingly not that bad at all. I don't have a particularly high performance machine by a long shot and i can run it in the mid to high 20s with TSX on.
