I would... however I fear my plate is already too full with other QA projects.

haha! or: "Warning: Sheer number of trees may cause your neighborhood to experience periodic power loss." Bahaha, but really, framerate shouldn't be an issue, it only gets choppy on my system when I have more than just RW running, and I'm on a crappy laptop. I think I'll go public with it, I suck at scenarios, so I'm just gonna make a free roam with default stock for now, and maybe one with some HLRR stock. I'ma have to get a lot done though over these next couple days. Hope I can give y'all a couple good miles of scenic Wisconsin-esque environs to roll around in for now. Should have some update WIP shots soon.

Nice looking SW1500. !!*ok*!!

I don't know how ya do it. I can't bring myself to create a freelanced route complete with hills and whatnot. I plop down a few yard tracks, some buildings; then delete everything and start over... !*hp*! !*roll-laugh*!

I hear ya Chessie. This is my fourth attempt at a route, and this is the one I'm sticking with (but I can't say I haven't thought of completely re-doing the entire thing), though I will hopefully one day return to my abandoned projects :P

Hey y'all, looks like the BETA will have to be postponed until after the weekend, seeing as I'm still waiting on permission to use some assets. Sorry folks, but this'll give me time to complete a few more areas. Hope to have it up for download next week.

Laptop gone, backup failed, hard drive in bad shape. Good thing I know some tech guys that can get my Backup folder outta there and onto my next computer whenever I get it, but the HLRR is postponed until then.

This is the third hard drive failure (including mine) I have heard of now. I am very tempted to save for a blu-ray burner so I can have a backup I can store on the shelf.

Blu Ray won't back up an entire hard drive. Cheaper to get an external 500Gb drive in a USB enclosure and do a weekly "incremental" backup. I do it every week. I run a RAID 0 for fast load times (no RW stutter here) but if one drive fails, I lose it all. !*hp*!

I wasn't thinking of a bare metal backup, just incremental of the more valuable files. Docs, photos, railworks, music. That sort of think. But you are correct if you do want to do a complete backup. I have a 1TB drive from my old RAID 1 that has no purpose yet, and I may just do that.

Incremental is better, faster. Once you do the first backup, Windows just adds what new stuff have accumuliated from the last backup. Quick and easy. !!*ok*!!
