A real-world question..... can anyone enlighten me on why the gantry posts are extremely tall? I can't figure out the purpose behind that extended height and the crossbar up top???

It looks good but the only thing that makes it look bad is the defult Kuju SD40-2 and defult Freight cars !*roll-laugh*!

PRR High Tension Transmission was at 132kv @ 18' radius from Other High tensions wires

In simple terms, high voltage you want some separation between those and lower voltage power lines.
