Still working on a few objects, in addition to locos and cars, needed for a route. Here's the Highland monument and preliminary work on an ACL style signal with doll arm. Now back to the baby boat.

Thanks guys. Here's another quick update on the textures. They still need a lot of work but are getting there slowly.

I agree. Lots of roadnames to choose from.
This engine has a very distinctive sound.
Keep up the great work. !!*ok*!!

Looking good, I believe the U81B will make a great train for Railworks.

Wish you the best of luck.

Thanks everyone! No doubt about the sound! They are unmistakeable if you have ever heard one. As far as road names, I would love to at least do one for Guilford and maybe Main Central if I have time.

Here's another update. The model is just about complete, only needing a few other minor details (glass, air filters) and texture work. I'm still not totally happy with the cab numbers as they aren't quite the correct font. Also, does anyone have or know of any good, close pics of Uboat, underframe, air filters. -7s may work as I don't think they are too different but I'm not 100% positive. Whoops, almost forgot. !*hp*! I also could use good pics of fuel gauges, etc.

Looking great. I can't wait to give it a try on Railworks, how is the 3d cab coming on it?

Next would you be interested in building one of these for the game.

A M420W, built in the 1970's by Montreal Locomotive Works

One of these were featured in the 1998 movie The Atomic Train, about a run away train.

Here are some pictures.

And here's a picture of the one from the movie, the paint scheme that was featured on it.

around 90% of the M420W's were bult for CN, i assume over time these short lines purchased the used ones.
If i could also make a suggestion, i would like to see a GMD-1, again originaly bult for CN but has found it's way to other railroads such as NAR (Northern Alberta Railway), and MRL, don't bieleve me about MRL? BAM!!!! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3488/331 ... 2b2121.jpg (notice the kick butt sparkarrestors!)

this is one of the distinctive sounding GMD locos, some are still in service today on CN but i think MRL has the majority of what is left running. (only about 10 or so still in service, rest scraped or in museums)

just a suggestion......... *!greengrin!*

I am rather surprised nobody is asking for more U-boats since that was the model he is currently working on.
