Went to the site to download the route and this is what I got.
The following download is not available: https://rapidshare.com/files/446026038/ ... s_WIP_.rwp | 0.00 MB
Looks like someone took the route away.

Hi John,
Just wanted to drop you a line as tell you my hat is off to you. I didn't think you could get any better than what you did on the south end of your Willamette Pass Route from Klamath Falls north to above the Willamson River. Well I was wrong! I don't think I've ever seen an entire city, its subsidiary along, the industral areas, rail yard, and industral spurs as realisticly rendered as you have the city of Eugene Oregon in any sim. Absoultely amazing work. In addition to all the trackwork, and terrain work and texturing you do, you also create your own building and structures to match the real thing. Don't know how you do it or where you get the time. I hope everyone who makes routes for RailWorks strive to achieve your excellance and realism. Looking forward to the finish route. Until then, I continue to enjoy and run steam over your WIP beta release. Just a side note, running a SP consist of 3 Cab-Forwrad and 2 GS-1 northern plus freight cars from Oakridge to the top at Cressent Lake takes over 2 hours and quite a bit of tallent to keep a full head of steam up as well as the speed and not stall. Below is the link to that consist comming into Klamath Falls from Willamson River.

Hope you enjoy it, there are some beautiful shot of the consist reflected in the lake. Keep up the great work.

What prompted these new posts? Has someone seen/heard some activity on this? Living here near Eugene now (and frequently driving across the Pass) I would love to talk with John about his work on this amazing switchbacking track. If anyone knows how to contact him, please PM me.

Hi,
Because of the last few post, here is the link to Image Shack where all the pictures of the route and current work is posted by John. If you scroll down far enough you will see some of the amazing work he has been doing on the north end and of his amazing modeling of object for the route. Enjoy.

I hope someday his completed route will be finished. As to it availability, it is not for now, several years back John made available what he had completed at the time to a few friends. Here hopping that when finished the route will be made to all. Keep up the amazing work John.

Thanks for the showing. Looks like a lot of the shots are from the famous Vapor-ware route covering Norfolk Sothern's Roanoke Va.
That was one route at the top of my list for running. Had teaser screen shots for a few months, updates, than ziltch. Sure is some fine work though. !!*ok*!!

IIRC, the NS-AND route was lost in a recent HD failure.

Agreed, Spec5sx had to be one of the most talented builders out there during RW2, I wish he could've stuck around a little longer !*don-know!* The NS New River Districts was a route I had my eye on ever since I first saw the first post anouncing the WIP, back when I was a leecher on these forums. Looked like such a great route, along with Willamette Pass.
