Yes, it is very impressive! And shows what can be achieved with dedication and perseverance.

DLC requirements are quite modest, meaning the route will not likely crash the game due to memory use?

Looking forward to testing it.

And it goes very well alongside the Run8 routes that cover the same territory.

It has crashed on me twice in the last month after I tried driving immediately following a 2 or 3 hour editing session, otherwise it's been pretty stable. There are four others who have had the route for a bit and no one has mentioned any crashes so far - knock on wood.

Chiming in here......

I have had a couple of crashes when I combine editing a scenario with running the scenario. If I edit, I save, exit to the menu, clear the cache, then run the scenario everything seems to work a whole lot better that way. If I run the scenario straight up, it runs fine - no crashes.

I got all the files to download except one and not sure what is the name of file to download. The one I am looking for is below:

Alpenfreights Simple Weather Mod

What is the right file to download from the file library here at Railworks America.

Your help would be appreciated!

Thank you,

John

I got them up running with no problem in my program of Train Simulator 2017. I have to say a big thank you to Tim Zorn (Tomcat) for his work on this route. Mine really turn out very well and very pleased to see this route compare to Cajon Pass we have here. *!!thnx!!* !*brav*! !*YAAA*! to Tomcat

Hey Tomcat, just curious... The freeware assets that you are using for this update, is it possible to package those in with the route since they are freeware after all? That way the only thing the end user needs to worry about is the payware assets.

I have just scratched the surface of this route so to speak, from San Bar to Summit, and I have to say that it has more than exceeded the hype and my expectations. Tim, you've absolutely raised the bar for us route builders! !*cheers*!

After some sleep, I'm going to check out the rest of the line, and your work. First though, some screenshots from a scenario I just uploaded to the file library. I hope you all enjoy it, whilst enjoying this fine route!

That is what I had originally planned on but ran into some serious problems. Whenever I try to use utilities or RWTools to package up the route with some of the freeware assets both programs crash on me. I don't think it's either program but more so just some oddity with my hardware/software mix that is causing the issue.

Additionally, some of the freeware assets are things that I think everyone probably already has and I didn't want to add to the download size. That being said, I will continue to look at ways to make grabbing and installing the route easier as I work towards a final release, but that's a ways in the future yet.
