A hint at what's coming up next, can you guess what this vintage neon sign came off of.
Klees Texture.jpg

It would have been a fiberglass sign made in the late 40's, early 50's.

This will be the first building that I build that will have the original neon letter's as well and I'll attempt to put the blown neon tubes on this one.

One hint, the building existed in Chicago in 1955.

...Cheers...

Big J

P.S, it took me forever to make the sign from scratch, from what little reference I have there was next to 0 amount of reference available to see how it would have looked like in 1950.

Some more screens of the Inner City Building 14 in sim.

All of the letters are also fully 3d, it took me ages to make the letters for the side of the building.
Inner City Building 14 In Game C.jpg

The sign was 100% made from scratch, I had very little reference available for it.
Inner City Building 14 In Game D.jpg

And the original building from the actual reference of the building I found. The building was located in Chicago in 1955.

Nice structure... I don't mean to sound like a rivet counter...

However, I humbly suggest that it is highly unlikely that one would find both a Walgreens and a CVS in the same building and certainly not in 1955.
CVS Caremark History; CVS was founded in Lowell, MA by the Goldstein brothers in 1963. By 1964, there were 17 CVS stores selling primarily health and beauty items.

.....

It's been a while since I've updated this pack any, so writing here to tell you that I'm starting to do some new buildings for the next version of the pack, coming up soon.

Also, I'm experimenting with a much lower texture setting for better results, 15 diffuse instead of 25 diffuse so that it reacts a ton better in the sunlight.

...Tomorrow some more buildings, I've been collecting some textures for a while now that I plan on starting using. Some of them have already been used on these new buildings but I have many more.
