How about using the PM system? Nearly half of the posts here are you asking for updates. *!rolleyes!*

It has been a while, but here is a new updat about this route (No, it's not dead yet *!!wink!!*). It's hard to find time due to long working hours... (I just wish i had more time). I' ve almost finnished the Scenery between Millcreek and Mapleton, but there is still enough to do (putting some nice Details arround the tracks), but that's for later now.

1. The small freight yard at Mapleton, where a GE44 is doing some switching, while an express train is driving by...

2. The Scenery between Mapleton and Millcreek with a Freight train to the New Holland Yard passing by.
Rss56.jpg

3. And small overview of the scenery. It's a diverse landscape between Mapleton and Millcreek.

Everything is still WIP and might slightly change a bit over time.

Cheers,
Bob

Sounds great, I'll see about doing some more scenery again for the route.

Also, when you can go ahead and download the 60's cars again, there are some new vehicles in there such as a 66 Chevrolet C10 truck and a couple more.

Also, I released my Inner City Classic Buildings set, perhaps there will be something in there that you're be able to use.

I think this picture perfectly describes small road operations.
Overgrown sidings, clutter, guy peeing on the cars (or so it seems)...

This is looking to become the perfect route for me.
Great work!

I'm trying to give it an local toutch, The route should have a low- mainentance feel in it. Thats also one of the reasons to use tracks without ballast under it, and just Scalerail Yard tracks. About peeing on the job... Everyone does that in the RR branche right? or am i the only one? *!embar*!

I like detailed routes, so this needs to get detailed... but beware of New Holland, it's so detailed that TS2014 goes back to MSTS with Frame rates XD

Anyway, a new (small) update:
Rss58.jpg

Rss59.jpg

Rss60.jpg

I wasn't happy with the track layout in Mapleton yet, so i decided to change it a bit today. Switching should be a little bit more fun now (2 more tracks to use). I'm happy with it now, so I don't think there will be any changes anymore in this area, so this screen is pretty final. When all the scenery is done between New Holland and Millcreek, a first alpha will be uploaded to RWA. When i finished working on this part of the route, i'll start on the part north of Millcreek.

If anyone hase ideas for the route, please tell them, i'm always open for it and all the tracks north of Millcreek still need to be done!

I use the UK trainsim texture pack and it's the first ACRON mud paint in the Mud catagory ;) (could be wrong about the name, but it's definitely mud...)

I'm thrilled by your use of the B&M GE 44 tonner.
I have it and I'd like to see it used in more scenarios.
This route is perfect for it.

The B&M has 4 of them in service for freight operations on my route! *!!wink!!*

Since there is also a lack at electric traction, i use those for freight.

Anyway, I've been building a little bit of scenery again today...

A Little background to the B&M GE44's on this route:

The Railway is owned by the NHT (New Holland Transit) since the late 50's. Before the late 50's it was owned by the NHER (New Holland Electric Railway Co.), but after years of mismanagement, the company collapsed. A couple of local investers still saw an oppertunity in the railroad and decided to invest in it. They started to focus on Passenger transportation instead of Freight operations. Freigthend to lose their customers, the B&M made a deal with the NHT to take over all the Freight activities, B&M on their turn gives the NHT some money again for the usage of their tracks.

Since normal locomotives are to heavy for the NHT tracks, they bought 4 GE44 tonners to do the Job. One of them is stationed at the New Holland yard. The other three are stationed it MillCreek at the old B&M station.

Cheers,
Bob

If I may, you seem to have a few spare telephone poles propped up against the white fence.
This doesn't make a lot of sense, even if the frnce could bearthe weight the poles would be very unstable and dangerous.

I wouldn't want this railroad to be sued into oblivion even before it is finished!
