This is looking fantastic! Great atmosphere and a great attention to detail. I also appreciate that you are considering the balance of detail and performance as you've indicated in other posts. Thanks for so many progress shots! Really looking forward to this one.

looks great.. alot of those places look really familiar. I spotted CP Gibson, and Dickey road immediately, and the roundhouse looks awesome!

there's also been alot of work in the gibson yards. they have 24 tracks now, plus another 7 going in for the potash corp. none of that has hit google maps yet. its a shame that your on the other side of the pond, and can't easily see all the stuff going in. again, any help that i can be, just let me know.

Thanks for offering to help, i do appreciate it. I would love it if you could snap some pics from your engineers seat of view, maybe create a Cab Ride video of sorts, that way i could capture "the real feel" of whats its like running the mainline of the IHB. Do you think it would be possible to place a HD camera on your engine, and record a ride from Proviso to Gibson or Gary ? Not only would I pay for a video like that, but you could also sell your copies of it online, there is a market for cab ride dvds. Many collectors out there, me included *!!wink!!*

Its so great that IHB will get more business at Gibson. Its a perfect spot as you guys have more than enough room to spare at that location. How is IHB doing downforce? Do you think you guys will be taken over by a class one railroad one day ? From what i can tell, it seems that IHB is doing good, new engines, infrastructure improvements and your new Potash corp deal...

I hate being so far away from the US. Its been more than two years since my last visit to Chicago ! Man i need to get back there, i really miss it ! Ive spent so many hours along your IHB railroad and others, my wife always at my side, taking pics... Come to think of it, i might have a pic or video snap of you Downforce *!greengrin!*

Just a note that has to be said about your line of work. My dad was an engineer, retired last year, (lots of trips with my dad in the cab) ... Just want to say i know how hard your workday is, its no joke being an engineman, always had alot of respect for you guys.

Anyways, Grasselli and Calumet is done, Michigan avenue yard is also done, and CP Hick as well. Working my way slowly eastward towards EJE yards in Gary.

Thanks again.

Hi guys.

Im still working on the route. There are some issues that needs to be taken care of, railworks behaves strange sometimes. NDORFN has been kind enough to offer his help with ironing out these problems, atleast i hope the problems can be fixed.

Anyways, here are some shots around CP Hick in Gary Indiana and the IHB Lakefront Yard.
