I'm sure once I make my self more familiar with Blender or 3DC (from what I've read here on the forums, I'm thinking Blender) it will be an easy concept to grasp and implement. I'm very well versed on Sketchup Pro but have read its not the best for modding and I prefer to learn the proper program from the start. I'm sure I'll pick it up pretty quick. Hard part will be finding the extra time.

I know what you mean. I waited almost a year for BF3 and I've hardly tried it out since it was released. Been having too much fun with RW3 and working on my reskins. Same kind bug as I had years ago when I was busy building HO models except its a lot cheaper *!lol!* .

Ive been hooked on RW for over two years now, just cant find the time to include other games, RW takes priority. *!greengrin!* Skyrim, FSX and Rage is fired up from time to time so that i dont burn out on RW.

roinuj,

Im curious, do you have a "line up" of repaints waiting to be done? If so, will you "disclose" that line up anytime soon, hm...? !!det!!

If it's anything like the rest of us, probably a quarter of them get to the point where they're willing to be shown off :).

3d work concepts are easy, writing an interface to let you play with 3d objects isn't - I still haven't really grasped blender that well but I'm used to Max and still have access to it anyway, so not terribly motivated to learn. If anyone else is thinking about learning, it's just like putting cardboard cutout models together.

I'm planning on completing a package of CN Zebra stripes with my weathering, similar to my GATX package. I'll post updates as I work on them.

After then, I'll try find time to get into Blender to learn the basics so i can finish the DESX wide nose I showed recently then, probably move to some rolling stock repaints as well as back to the RW3/TS12 SD40-2. I'm leaning towards additional CN stuff but need to grasp the concept of creating some child items to add to the SD-40 such as added extended roof shields to make them more prototypical.

One day, way down the road, would like to eventually try my hand at some modelling, maybe some tankers and who knows maybe some locos. Would love to see a CN GP9RM and my favorite CN SD60F.

Other then that, I really should take some time to actually run some trains, after all I've only been using Railworks since the RW3 release in November. !!*ok*!!

Dont mean to butt in or try to overwhelm you, but do you mind trying your hand in doing the CN GP-9 in green/black 1954 scheme? I think there was one dome on the freeware geep but that thing dosent work on my pc.

The older you get, the faster time seems to fly. So I must be just below mach 1.

Now, if I can just figure out what color "greem" is, I'll be OK. For today anyways. (yes, CNR, I am razzing you) !*lho*!
