Remember to clear your cache if you see something acting strange like that. Working then suddenly not or vice-versa with same parameters, etc.

Can't wait to see this finished, it's looking good.

Clearing the cache didn't shift anything; luckily I do seem to be getting somewhere.
So I have the front and rear pivots correctly positioned...

But I've noticed two oddities:
1) The couplers are still too far out, which means that on the engines, it pushes the coupler into the locomotive's pocket. Between cars, it turns sideways:
Image
2) The cars themselves are pulled to one side, offsetting them:

I suspect the two problems are interrelated.

You might need to experiment with the min distance, max distance and target distance (for the mid-point) values in the couplings blueprints.

The values I've used are perfect for the cars I've modelled but they could need further tweaking to fit the geometry of your cars. Also keep in mind that there could be errors in the locos' couplings (which loco are you using?). My cars are made to work perfectly with my own locos, so I don't have that problem.

RS-1 and the B&A 4-6-6T...Also recently tried the wonderful ALCo S2.

...

In the mean time, seeing as I can make these all reference the same coupler, I'm putting some of my other Pullmans in.
(Before you get ahead of me, I have been working on these since October. I'm not building them all right now lololol)

Gotta get the doors working and adjust a window on the 8-1-2 but hey, it seems to work.

Won't post all the shots, since most of these are just different arrangements of rooms, but here's a couple other important things:
12-1(most common Pullman ever built):
Image
16-Section Tourist Car (300-strong cheaper sleeping cars, unnamed):
Image
CB&Q PB-20s in early and WWII liveries:

I've got some other stuff from the CB&Q, WP and D&RGW that I'll be putting in, especially since I have routes suitable for the Exposition Flyer and a lot of my models match up with that. So we're hopefully going to be looking at a decent set of heavyweights for y'all to play around with.

I especially need that CB&Q for my route, sounds great, can hardly wait to see them.

The essentials:
CB&Q DA-6 Diner:
Image
BA11/12/15/16/18 Baggage Car (As far as I can tell, the only appreciable difference is that some BA-11s have dynamo rooms. I also need to fix the collision and pivot parameters, which I forgot to update):

Probably won't get anything else out today because I'm occupied later on, but this marks the point at which I can start properly setting up passenger train consists. I do have some RPOs, an express boxcar, a D&RGW coach and some WP stock on the export queue though.

Are there 4 axle variants in the works as well?

These will go great with tourist lines

So far the only 4-axle ones I've done are the WP round-roof baggage/coach/diner, and the D&RGW 1000 series coach. They're unfortunately quite unique cars, but hopefully I can at least use the structure of the WP cars to make some Harrimans in the not-too-distant-future, and I have some older Burlington designs that are four-axle.

Would love to see a new engine to go perfectly with this later.

Awesome work trainboi !!*ok*!!
If you look in the blueprint for my frontrunner wagon I set the couplers up about as simply as is possable.
To get the position right I used the guide here,
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6258
It's confusing at first but soon makes sense.
Frontrunner in the file library now!

Interesting...I'll be working on that tomorrow then.
For the time being, I'm experimenting with a career scenario of the Exposition Flyer on the 1947 schedule. Thanks a ton to dleeboy for his wonderful extension, though it did cause me some stress earlier.

Solariums are standard for postwar, so I figured a DL-3 should go in next. I've also got three types of 70-foot RPO, two from the CB&Q and one from the WP.
