Now that the widecab Dash 8s are finished, I've turned my attention back to the standard cab tooth rattlers. What's new so far? Zek gave me permission to use his improved number font featured in my upcoming widecab pack on these engines, so that's what I did.

I just need to go mess around with the clutter texture file ( ) and fix the logos ( ) and these should be ready to go.

Quick question to everyone: I'm playing with the C40-8's alpha layer with hopes to achieve a "freshly repainted" look for the YN3B skin. Does this engine seem too shiny, or does it look like it just rolled out of the paintshop a few seconds ago?

If you're looking to get the exact shine from the wide cab dash 8, just open the hood's alpha for the widecab, select the color of the hood, open the alpha for any texture in the standard cab, and recolor the parts in the alpha with the selected color.

P.S. Last minute heritage unit anyone?

The wide cabs are done and have been uploaded.

I'd say the YN3B C40-8 is nearly done, I just need to find a few of the smaller textures and paint them blue and this one should be good to go.
