Only freeware that is readily available is used for this route. We want to show that you don't need to have forty gajillion (that's a lot) different payware routes to make something very realistic.

Cool: I'll be able to watch trains from my backyard, but a chaise lounge would be nice. Now that I've written that, I'm beginning to imagine a Timetabled scenario in which the player is indeed in his backyard when a train pulls up and he's invited to take the engineer's seat. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . .

That was some rough track laying for me. Had to redo it several times to make it work right. Scenery looks great!

I can imagine Bob, the DEM for that area isn't the greatest so it's taken a lot of work to get the ground to match the streetview pictures.
I still need to have a play with the road to get it sitting a bit better.
