Space+alt like the SP GS4 has.

:D ... it looks twice as good now. I wish RSC would hurry up and post some WIP pics, especially the cab (I don't like to brag, but even I drool over it!).[/quote]

Can you post some? Even though you are going through RSC, you should have the rightto show your work on this site !*salute*!

mdurdan, I forgot the combo for the airhorn. Should be somewhere floating on the internet on which keys trigger it.

Excellent!I didn't expect to see anything concrete from them this soon. Were you responsible for the entire creation of the model? I think it would be best if RSC just distributes the model for you because I feel they'd damage the quality of the model if they were involved too much in its creation.

Even Rich Garber, who put me in touch with RSC, was surprised at how quickly they reacted. They must be keen :D

So far it's entirely my own work, except for the buckeye coupler - I was using the Kuju one as a temporary placeholder but RSC said they could send me the source so that my model would be standalone. I might just make my own anyway. The idea is indeed for them to publish and distribute the loco, only that (although they'll also test it before it's released).

I've sent 20 screenshots to Matt and I'll let him choose which ones to post. They'll go into the queue for facebook and should be up there soon.

At some point I'll need to make some scenarios for it. That'll be fun!

Awesome! So, are they going to announce a release date with the screenshots or probably just the little "coming soon" banner?

Just the "coming soon" for now, simply because I don't know exactly when I'll finish it (soon though, I hope).

I'm looking forward very much to doing more in the same vein. I love modelling steam engines and learning about how they work.

Can't wait to see the pictures. Also when you finish the engine and start on the next I will be following along as you make the tutorial hopefully.

When the pictures come available can you give us a link to them by the way.

I hope to either do a 1885 American 4,4,0 or a Baldwin 4,6,0 Ten Wheeler from the early 19th century. I've decided that whenever I do do the Empire State Express I think I'm going to start it over from scratch to get every piece exactly like the prototype hopefully.
