Brian, I think Peter would be proud of your work. Tori, I'm glad you let Brian have a go at redoing the route. It looks fantastic! !!*ok*!! !*salute*!

Also, for the barracks, you may want to contact "jpetersjr" he's darn good at modeling buildings. In fact, he may already have some buildings in the library or his website that could work for you: http://chungington-routes.webs.com/

He does more of cityscape sort of buildings vs. beat up backwoods shacks, It's not that I don't like the buildings I have but I need a better way to arrange them?

Maybe something like this

By the way, would anyone mind making something like these?

don't forget to have equipment on skids such as a steam powered winch or early gas powered winches which were found everywhere in the logging areas, they also make great interesting loads on flatcars.

If you are talking about the Logging Camp Crane?

When Tori released the route, she inadvertently left out some of the animation files for the crane. If you download the crane from the File Library here, it will work.

Search the library for dick8299 and the crane will be about the 4th item down the list.

I've already asked Mdurdan for a number of things including a few (hopefully working) stationary kerosene, steam, and sterling engines for the upcoming community route that I'm helping with which I also plan to use for this route as well :D

Also could use these as well if anyone is interested *!lol!*

I know you guys are gonna hate me for adding MORE payware assets but these seemed like a must!

Here are some pics I took with the new wooden bridges I got from Portland terminal, really makes it look like the photos (although their not finished yet).

You know how it is. If you don't have "ALL" the assets, it just looks like you drink a lot of milk. !*roll-laugh*!

Except you'll be spending a few hundred dollars (or whatever your denomination is) to play a freeware route!

If I could make my own models I would use those, but I would probably spend more time making them than route editing !*roll-laugh*!

Looking great...

Do you have a timeline for completion? Have you worked out how to "disconnect" this from Tori's COA? One last question - do you anticipate much more payware?? While I am an avid supporter, I have absolutely no interest in modern diesel routes, so am wary of having to keep buying routes I have no interest in (and giving funds to RSC that I vowed I wouldn't do after the Big Boy saga) to get the odd asset?

Cheers and keep it up, it does look beautiful and just so atmospheric.

Very nice ozinoz! You'll enjoy the route. It's short but the details is awesome!

Portland Terminal is probably the last payware assets I'm going to use (but remember that "probably" word *!lol!* never know when something really cool will pop up )

I'm thinking about releasing it soon (unfinished) depending on the difficulty of doing so (I've never done it before), this way I can get feedback on what is good and what can be improved... there's no way in hell I'm going to completely finish this route soon and I know how much you guys want it (lots of PM's :D ) so I'll see what I can do to get it out. I'm going to be getting some assets from Mdurdan for the community route that I'm also going to be a part of (amazing I go from posting a few pics to making routes in a month :D ) which I will probably receive in a week or 2 so I'll talk to Tori from there to see how all of this gets done.

!*cheers*!

I only have one word of advice and that's put it with a couple of beta testers before you release it to everyone. Some routes go smoothly and some have lots of bugs before they load and run right. You get forty people all with problems and they will drive you insane.
