UPDATE

So I found track speeds! Maybe one of more knowledge than I (everyone) can help?

The key says this:

1. NEDTxE = North End Two Tracks x MPH on E Side, Track Speed on W
2. NEDTxW = North End Two Tracks x MPH on W Side, Track Speed on E
3. NEx North End Speed Restriction xMPH
4. SEx South End Speed restriction xMPH

What do these mean?

Example of 1:
MJ24.7 North Dorena NEDT40E
Image

Example of 2:
338.8 Wilton Manors NEDT40W
Image

Example of 3 and 4:
104.0 Ormond Beach SE60 NE45

Okay, I am able to decode the track chart, and work has begun on version 2, of sorts.

I won't need assistance right away, but I will inevitably need someone else to signal the route, unless I have some sort of knowledge breakthrough. I'll probably use the SMMD signals from RCAP. If anyone has any interest in lending a helping hand, please PM and we'll work out the details.

Also, sorry I've been posting so much recently. Ultimately, the knowledge that there are other simmers out there who will put to use the hard work I'm putting in definitely motivates me when the going seems to get tough. I appreciate all your support.

I appreciate that very much. I know the biggest concern with freeware WIP (apart from vaporware) is use of assets. As of now, the only things I am using are default Kuju assets, Pacific Surfliner, 3DTrains (Scale Rail/Road, Rural Landscapes), and of course RCAP.

Yup, freeware ScaleRoad from 3DTrains. So far, the asset list is as follows:

3DTrains ScaleRail/Road/Rural Landscapes
Pacific Surfliner (very important)
Cajon Pass
RCAP (current version)

Trying to keep the list as short as possible (at least for payware). The only payware routes that will absolutely be required are Cajon (I think everyone has it) and Pacific Surfliner. So far, I'd say half of the assets used are from Surfliner, so there's that.
