Been making some good progress on the engine and have screenshots to show.

But unfortunately because of a forum error I can't post any screenshots because everytime I try to post a screenshot I get a 404 error, why for that?

As soon as I can, whenever that error is fixed I'll post some screenshots of progress so far.

Question, is anyone else being able to post pictures, or is it just me with the problem.

I don't think there's a limit on how many pictures you can post, I believe it just a common error at the minute.

It is a problem happening to a few people. Buzz and I can't find a common denominator yet.

Hello all, I'm looking for a decent free image sharing site so I can show my progress again. Does anyone know of any that actually works.

I've tried both flickre and Photobucket and can't get neither of the two to work. Flickre times out in uploading and doesn't upload the image and I can't even get Photobucket to upload.

Also I tried hosting the images from facebook with the Img tool here and can't get it to show the images.

Try Image Shack. It works well for me.

I use picasa, and with a Google+ account (which you do not need to use) hosting is free under 2048x2048px image.

I tried both Image Shack and Picaso and couldn't get neither to work.

Wasn't able to make a picture from Image Shack to appear with the Image link here for in the forum.

And I couldn't get Picaso to do anything on my system.

By the way, wish I could post a screenshot, but I'm still getting that 404 error when I try.

I'm making great progress on the engine, now have most of the body built and very soon it will be time to start on the wheels and trucks next. The body is really looking great.

Has it occurred to you that the problem is on your end?

The first negative cancels the second. Did you get it to work, or do you mean either? *!rolleyes!*

This isn't making any sense now. Using Shake or Picasa you are linking, not uploading the image. For example:

Code: Select all

And to date the 404 errors are only happening with images attached to the post.

If you want maximum return on your feedback investment, best to post screens here at RWA. Many don't do Facebook (I certainly don't), and if you're not a member, it's likely you won't be able to access all of your work-in-progress. *!!wink!!*

It looks like the upload attachment is working again. For the longest time all I was getting was a 404 error message when trying to upload a screenshot.

Here's progress from a couple of days ago.
