Update on my progress:

So I have decided to make a V1 of the RMR and release it in the near future, which depends on how long it takes me to create the main areas I want to finish in the V1. I want to get almost all of the trackwork done on the eastern half of the railroad and some major industry's built. So the changes from my last update up to now is that the trackwork has been laid to the iron ore mine on the western half of the route, but in doing so I noticed that my Dem goes another 50 or so miles to the west so the branchline Is now going to be extended past the iron ore mine to other things I haven't thought of yet....I will add this the the "RMR story" sometime later. A few more miles of track have been placed on the east side of the route and some scenery. a good portion of the tracks, sidings and industry's have been named but there is still a lot more to go. In total I would say there is currently about ~100 miles of track already laid.

So there are going to be a few new large industry's on the route and what they are, what they ship, and their locations are as follows:

Gas Plant - Eastern half of the route - In: empty cars Out: Loaded oil cars (10-15 cars at a time) and Loaded Prilled Sulphur gondolas (~100 car unit train)
Potash Mine - Eastern half of the route almost at the end of the line - In: empty cars Out: Loaded Potash Covered Hopper cars (~ 100 cars for the 3 bay hoppers and ~150 for the 2 bay hoppers)

The loaded oil tank cars will be shipped to a refinery nearby (its cheaper for them to ship it by rail than pipeline due to the area being highly populated for where the pipeline would go compared to the rail line which is mostly in the farmland). The loaded sulphur gondolas will be shipped by unit train to the west coast for transloading into ships bound for Asia, and the potash trains are also transported to the west coast for shipments to Asia, but at the same time smaller orders are going to local fertilizer plants just south on the BNSF line.

Here's some progress on some of the repaints:

RMR acquired 50 new/reconditioned 50ft Hi-cube boxcars:

and also purchased 2 unit trains worth of second hand iron ore cars from BN, the old cars still had NP on them and just a quick patch job has been done to them, most likely they will stay this way until they need to be serviced or rebuilt.

Looking good :D
Did you use the asset block for your trees? If so what kind of density setting did you use and what are the fps like?
Also what trees did you use?
Sorry for all the questions.
Cheers

1. yes
2. I think it was around 3000-5000
3. GreatNortherner released a tree pack some time ago, I think its still available in the old file library, maybe in the new one too, haven't checked?
4. fps is in the 30's for me (only have a mid end system) but the scenery is far from done anywhere.
!*cheers*!

ok so ive run into a minor snag with the 100t coal hoppers, it seems that I cant find where the file is to change the reporting marks on the end of the hoppers from BN to RMR? other than that they are done. If you look at the picture I posted of it look at the hopper to the right and on the end you will notice where it still says BN, and help on figuring out how to fix this would be great otherwise they will just have to have BN marks on the end of the cars...

I don't have the BN one. I have the Milwaukee package and that's where it appears to be. You're not looking at a alpha channel file or something? Just guessing.
