200-250 is about what I figured. Is there any particular individual at NS that I need to contact about this? I've sent several emails to individuals listed on the Corporate website, but i've gotten no reply thusfar.

Thanks Buzz! There will still be freebies, I just got to pass on some of the cost on this one.

About CSX and UP, if RSC hasnt got a license for CSX, then I imagine it would be pretty hard for an individual to get a license. I haven't checked with UP.

CSX... I've tried to purchase some old stuff in Apex from them for 3 years now, they're extremely hard to work with about all things, give you a headache, run you in circles, and then say no. So good luck on a CSX license!

Exterior Complete

Unread postby SMMDigital » Wed Sep 05, 2012 9:34 am

Primary construction on the Phase 2 model exterior is complete. 797 parts, 38,897 triangles.

Now on to the interior model. Since I already have some parts from the C39-8 that I can use (brake appliances, etc), this shouldn't take to long.

On reflection are you finding that you need to add or clarify parts of your tutorial now that you are working on a new model?

Yes, there need to be revisions. Not so much with the building the loco, but people have pointed out better ways to do some things such as lighting and interior objects. As I come to those areas, I am making screen shots and will make changes to the tutorial.

I know what RSC did really sucks, but I wished SMM would come back.

BTW a GP38 and GP39 versions would be great.

SMM asked me to deactivate his account so he will not be posting.

As for his stuff. I am writing a blog post about that, which will be up tomorrow or the day after. The short story is that it really depends on how RSC handles the EULA.
