I must say, the M420 is looking great. It will be a nice addition to the game, just make sure your moving parts aren't connected to the sketchup model in sketchup, other wards it won't work. It would act like a solid object at most. You can place it under, but like the trucks, don't connect them to the body until you get it into whatever main modeling program you use.

Or at least this is what I believe would happen.

doesnt matter what he does in sketchup. the next program he uses for final work is where everything has to be disconnected and child objects be made. Its irrelevant to seperate them before exporting out of sketchup since the next program reads it as one mesh anyway.

Nope, I have successfully separated things then export the whole thing into Blender, and the wheels and truck are all separate. Even if what you said was the case, I could separate objects into different scenes in sketchup, then align them later on in Blender. Thankfully, that is not the case.

Well work has gotten back up to full steam again, and now, I present to you today, a render. A ton still needs to be done on it. But here it is:

It's looking great,

By the way, how is it looking in polygon level. I built a 4,6,2 Pacific in sketchup and right now as just a body it appears to be pretty high in poly level.

I also redid the frame, so it no longer is this one.
