Tom here is a diagram of the Coaches layout. Ignore the Seats that have the table that was pulled out. I just realized all of the Amfleet Cars now have this layout. So the car that is there now should have a bigger gap between the door and the first window on both sides that is where the bathrooms are. One for handicap and one for the other passengers.

This is what the Amfleet I should look like.

The Car should have those larger gaps in front of the car. Oh one last thing you left out, there should be LED indicator lights on both sides of the Cars towards the front. This signals the Conductor that the doors are open or close. You can see them in the second picture I posted. I believe Red says no and green says Go.

Oh and I found a pic for you that should help tell you what you pointed out looked like up close

Man I wish I can join a beta team for you guys to test out the Cars and get the overall feel of them.

Hi stmbuzz,

Many thanks for finding that elusive detail! I'll get round to building that straight away.

As for the LED indicators, they are present but are on the end furthest from the camera so they may be a bit hard to make out as they're relatively small.

ok i just notice it a while ago. Let me know if you need anything else, plus let me know when you get to the interior/Passenger View. I look forward to working on that.

Lastly I have a few sounds exclusive for the amfleets. IF you want to test them out when the time comes they are yours free of charge.

Hey stbuzz. Great job on digging all that info up. So cool to see community members helping along side the developer for a U.S. product.

Thanks! You can call me Steve for short. I have alot of information to share and I see no need to hold all of it back. I have forum loaded with charts, diagrams and drawings of hard to find stuff and everyday I find new stuff so it is something to share. You have done alot yourself as everyone else.

I'm just glad RSC came to us for help.

Show us some pis of the interior. It looks like you began construction. I have photos and information on the interior. There are two interiors to the Amfleets. The Refurbished Blue/White and the Original Red/White/Brownish Tan. You can do both here are some Great looks in the Coach Class. I hope you guys can create that gap between the wall and the Seat next to the window. I plan on putting the camera there to spy on our fellow passengers in front lol!

Wow, the interiors on these "cans" look like a Greyhound bus. Out here, the Coast Liner has big, big seats. Maybe it's because we don't have a lot of commuter trains. The west coast just isn't built for a lot of commuter stuff. We do have the Blue Line, the Green Line and the Red Line. But that's not even close to what these cars offer. They really are busses on wheels.

Comfortable Buses on wheels. The only thing I hate are the bathrooms. They are beyond disturbing. I won't describe them to you as it will offend the senses.

I managed to find a great close up of the Door indicator Lights. Red is go and green is no. That is how it goes I think

Amfleet bathrooms are about the same as airliners bathroom.

Let me tell you, guys. The leg room on these things (including Superliners) puts the busses and airplanes to shame! Pretty darn comfortable ride!

I've ridden on the Heartland Flyer, Texas Eagle (FTW-CHI) and the Cardinal (CHI-CIN).
Actually, I'm going on that trip again in about 3 weeks.

That is why when I travel on the Regional from NYP to Newport News I choose amtrak. It is so comfortable no to mention the fact that you can get up and move around unlike Greyhound. The only complaint I have on the Regional is the that on the NEC Line it is very hard to get a wireless connection to a laptop and maintain it.
