East of Union Station and Yard is the Fort Worth & Denver Yard.

This shot looks north from the Lancaster Ave. Underpass. The mainline on the right is the Missouri, Kansas, & Texas. Next to that, running into the yard is the Forth Worth & Denver mainline.

I'm guessing the photo of my grandfather (second from left in the vintage photo) was taken at the FW&D Yard.

**!!bow!!** Absolutely amazing! I'm loving the progress!

It's very interesting to see what Fort Worth looked like back then, especially when I have spent so much time down there. I know Lancaster Ave.... *!lol!*

You should try the Model A cars on the route as well, they actually used that body design in 25 as well.

Also, you'll find some new row buildings in my NWC 1930 assets pack on my website, the pack also comes with a new road model of mine as well.

There's a huge bend in the Trinity River just east of downtown, and the land there wasn't as densely built-up. Seemed like a good spot for jpetersjr's farmer's market.

At some point I have to go back and add people to all the scenes. And fix that sidewalk!

I found no pictures or info on how the RRs out of Fort Worth crossed the Trinity River just south of the Stock Yards, so I gave them all their own bridges. Makes for intersting scenery, if not perhaps historically accurate.

East of the Stockyards (as yet unscenicked), a short bridging RR, called the Fort Worth Belt Railway, serviced Moreno Silo Mfg., Gulf Oil, and the Mutual Oil Refinery.

If this is not the bridge, at least it could give you an idea of the type:

Though there were simple structure bridges in the area at that time:
