The route is coming along nicely. Most of the scenery is in up to Brightside Yard. I have started in Sunol and I will work my way back to Brightside Yard. I put in the roads at Sunol here is a screen shot I took today of that. And here are some videos I made the other day. https://youtu.be/tjesS7yVTJo https://youtu.be/xcgt5g3jVDo https://youtu.be/OT7Gcxsu2V4

Don't feel too jealous. With four kids to rangle I rarely get time to just "have coffee" or "lunch" out in a nice place like Sunol Railroad Cafe, or downtown Main St in Pleasanton (nor do I have the money... sigh).

Yep. Papaexpress lives there Buzz and I used to live right around that bend in the tracks in the last screen shot, in Pleasanton Ca.

Downtown Niles looks great, but I wish we could get one of the asset builders to make the couple of needed structures for downtown Sunol for dleeboy.

Town hall, and the General Store/Restaurant. I haven't been there for awhile so I'm not sure what they are called now.
The structures across from the Sunol Station are the ones I'm thinking of. Maybe the post office if it's still there.

Why... are you already doing something for the route?

All of this sounds great if someone steps up I will include them in the route. Until then I will use what comes close. I thought I would give everyone a heads up. If you do not have a powerful system do not bother to download this route when I release it. I use a lot of 3d trees. When I can I use 2d trees from a distance. But you will still need a powerful system to enjoy the route the way I intend it to look like. I went in tonight and changed a lot of the trees from a distance to 2d trees. It took me along time to do but it should help on some systems. I try to make a route look as real as I can that is the only way I work. I have tried the other way and I don't like it. It is too plain for me. If I cannot make a route look real then I won't even bother to make it. I hope everyone understands this. And for those that are not happy with this then I am sorry. Here are some screen shots of my work in Sunol.

Here are my Computer specs. ASUS Desktop PC G10AC Series Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 32 GB of memory. Windows 64 bit Operating System. GeForce GTX 760 ( 192 bit) Video Card. I recently upgraded my system from 8GB to 32GB. I was having some Stuttering when making videos so I upgraded to 32GB. Now I have no stuttering as of now. I run the game on Highest settings graphically when running my Niles Canyon Route. This should give everyone what type of system you will need to run my route the way I intend it to look. My goal is to replicate my Niles Canyon route to as close to the way it really is in real life. I know I cannot make it just like it is because I don't have the same buildings or the same trees that are there on the real route. But my goal is to represent it as close as I can. If this is an unrealistic goal for most peoples system. Please leave a comment to let me know if I should not put it up for people to download. As most people know about my routes I use a lot of Payware routes. I am using 8 plus the MP construction and Decal ones. If most people say not to put it up then I will continue to make it for myself and friends. I will continue to post updates for the people that are interested. I am pretty sure that most people on this forum have at least a system compared to mine if not better.

Nope. Not do'n not'n.

The General Store/Restaurant (Bosco's Bones and Brew) are still there. So is the post office.

I think dleeboy has the flavor of the town already.
