Gentlemen,
With all due respect if you are going to continue this conversation about computers please take it over to the geek page. Otherwise here let's talk about the 3 Track Cajon Project.

Cobbled together a truck weigh station just outside Black Mountain Quarry.

Great job on the weigh station. Missing the collection of State Troopers waiting to pounce on the overweight / worn tires / and a hundred other infractions trucker. !!*ok*!!
Of coarse, those are the outlaw truckers that scam the laws.

Not really. Work continues and I am making up for lost time experienced in late August and September. The laptop has now behaved itself for just over 2 weeks with all updates turned off, so turned off they will stay.

How is the route coming along Tomcat?

Thanks for asking! I have not purchased a new computer yet and my laptop seemingly has a mind of its' own... so progress is very slow. I won't be making any release estimates until I get everything sorted out on this end, which I suspect won't be until I get a replacement computer. In those rare moments when the laptop actually works I have been adding small amounts of detail work to select areas.

I'll try to post some screenshots later - I just tried to do that but it seems the laptop is not cooperating at the moment. Sigh. One day the laptop will fly through the window and I'm not particularly concerned if the window will be open or not.

Sorted out the problem with posting screenshots, turns out it was all me this time and not the laptops fault.

'empty' storage at Oro Grande

Route 66 snaking under the mains at Oro grande

Looking South towards Victorville Lower Narrows just a couple miles down the track

Looking North from almost the same spot as previous shot. Depressed town of Oro Grande to the right... I hear it's quite dusty year round living this close to the cement plant

Tomcat, I picked up Cajon Pass for a dollar and 79 off of steam during the steam holiday sale, and I must say I really look forward to this projects completion! It's nice to give Cajon a little update. !*salute*!
