So how close is this route to being done? Looks great. This route would run into my route eventually in real life CSX Chicago Main Line BRL (Batavia, Rochester, Lyons, New York) viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10787 which is being signaled right now by one of the RSC developers. Keep up the good work!

Hi Matthew.

Route is far far from being done I`m afraid. Havent touched the route in almost a month. I do have some days off from work during my Easter holiday so hopefully I can get out of South Bend once and for all. Gonna work a little bit on the route now in fact.

I took a look at your route project, looks great ! Glad to see more routes being worked on for TS2014. !!*ok*!!

Thank you *!!thnx!!* yea I have alot of time on my hands so I am able to work on it quite alot just right now I am at a stall cause the route is being signaled right now. ( I am still trying to understand the signaling) I am a rookie! As soon as I get it back I am hoping to have it done and ready to beta test (NERW is doing the beta tests) by late summer maybe earlier but hopfully no later than Early September.

You know first hand the challenges of making a route and how time consuming it is. I think you should be a bit more respectful of the fact that he obviously either, a) doesn't have time, or b) is working on it and will post when he'd like. The screenshots he's given us have been outstanding. Having said that, if you read some of his previous posts, you'd see the context of the route's building process. And saying he's slacking off? C'mon now. I'm the first person to feel impatient about a route, but have some respect.

I think if your losing interest in the route, then maybe you shouldn't follow it anymore. I'm glad you didn't say anything like that about my sound packs, as I would have been refused entry to this site anymore.

Hi guys !

Its about time I did a progress update so here goes. Work is slow as always but ... A major milestone was reached yesterday. Im finally out of South Bend, Mishawaka and Osceola and have now entered Elkhart Indiana, to be more precise, the western end of the huge Elkhart Yard. !*YAAA*!

Regarding screenshots, I just looked through this thread to see where the last shots were taken and that was way back in Chesterton ( Porter Junction ). When I have placed all the tracks and scenery in Elkhart, screenhots will be uploaded. First though I will have to paint the terrain all the way from Chesterton to Elkhart. Its the only thing that I havent completed on that segment of the route.

Once that is done, I will return to Blue Island, ( where it all started back in 2011 ) and work my way just a little bit westward. Some work still remains at Blue Island and will have to be completed so that users can run heavy transfers through the junction coming in from the west going east.

Once all that is done, signals and level crossings, speed and whistle posts will have to be placed. Then I will contact my beta testers and have them test the route before finally uploading the route to the public. Im hoping to have this out before TS 2015 ( thinking of really late summer / early fall. ) Dont quote me on that though. *!!wink!!*

Will have some hours this weekend to start work and hopefully complete the yard in Elkhart.

Thanks for all your support guys !!*ok*!!

No release date yet, its still gonna take a while until its ready.. However,

Elkhart is finally done! Yeah! **!!bow!!** . Currently working my way back west again, installing level crossings and updating some of the scenery in South Chicago. I will also have to go the "PapaExpress " way of combining all the various track rules into one ( route contains 2 or 3 track rules that will make signaling impossible? ), not looking forward to that. Still lots to do but it`s slowly ( very slowly ) getting to a point where I can hopefully soon reach out to some of the good folks around here, ask them for help and do some test runs.
