Well all the pics I have of SOU GP9's don't have the logo on them.

http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 096&nseq=3

But the things that are missing that I would rather see are the bells and the spark arrestors.

Hi,
On the ref pics I have of the southern there was no logo, however I am no expert and only copied what I saw.
http://southern.railfan.net/images/arch ... u2501.html
In fact I don't think I had seen any.

Quick fix list below, missed anything?

BN - cab glass fixed so you can see water.
BNSF - Softshadow, Ditch lights and winterization hatch added)
CN - cab glass fixed so you can see water.
CNW - cab glass fixed so you can see water, Added Winterization hatch
GN - cab glass fixed so you can see water, Added Winterization hatch
UP- cab glass fixed so you can see water.
Milwk - cab glass fixed so you can see water, Added Winterization hatch
Rio - cab glass fixed so you can see water. Hatch removed.
Rock - cab glass fixed so you can see water.
SF B - cab glass fixed so you can see water. Hatch removed.
SF Y - cab glass fixed so you can see water. Hatch removed.
Southern - cab glass fixed so you can see water, removed grill from roof.
SP Red - cab glass fixed so you can see water, Lights fixed, hatch removed, correct font on front.
SP Black - cab glass fixed so you can see water, Lights fixed, hatch removed, cab roof made black.
WP - cab glass fixed so you can see water, shivering fixed (extra poly from merged objects.
The WP was calling the wrong fan animation (the one from the 4 fan units) which is why some of the objects jumped about, very strange.

Also made the side vents less pronounced on all liveries.

I will have a spare hour or so this evening, I will add the bell to the ones I know had one on front nose. Lastly if the bell was not on the roof where would it be? it does not show up on any of my refference other than the roof.

cheers

Derek

Rock Island livery, Number plate does not display numbers if lights are off.

Derek

The photo you referenced is one of the Green & Gold scheme they used this until the 1960's then they switched to black.
Here is a color pic of the green & gold http://southern.railfan.net/images/arch ... 9559c.html

Hi, I sleep a little, but my mistakes so I need to fix them, sense of duty and all that.
Not all updates or fixes are simple, and require multiple people, those ones are always the ones that take the longest to push out.
The good news is that we are taking steps to improve our process and these silly errors will be caught long before launch.

Anyway, sorry that was a wrong link, I did find those later, but by that time I was done, the trouble with a folder with hundreds of links! :)

the link i meant to post was this:
http://www.hawkinsrails.net/mainlines/sr/sr_mp_road.htm
most of the images were GP7s but a few GP9s later on, so I applied what I new of the livery on the SW1500 and those images.

I love doing many liveries but it makes mine and Adam's life hard because of the duplication, still I think it makes for a more interesting pack.

best regards

"As others have mentioned, placement could vary depending upon RR specs and/or modifications, but AFAICT, the more-or-less EMD "standard" location was to have it mounted on the back of the front pilot face, between the coupler draft gear and stepwell, on the engineer's (right) side"

If they are not up on the nose near as I can find out.
Hope this helps,
