Thank you. I'm constantly cleaning up sourdough pretzel crumbs out of my keyboard!

I'll try to put a good face on this shot.

WIP shots of Kramer Junction which is about halfway between Barstow and Mojave. 395 crosses the BNSF Mojave subdivision at this point and it's not much more than an electrical substation, a handful of gas stations and a truck stop. This is probably the only section of the Mojave sub beyond Hinkley that will be scenicked before the beta release.

Yes, this is a place where there's a whole lot of nothing. There is a large solar power generation station there. Looking really good sir.

Thank you gtrtroger & emdsd90mac.

Not sure if this is going to work the way I want, but what the heck, you don't know till you try.

Been going through my old photography slides and digital files and started wondering if panoramas would be an interesting way to present a route. I use to like fooling around with PS photomerge for my landscape photography and thought I'd give it a go in TS2016. Can't say I've seen many, if any panoramic shots for any train sim, could be I just missed 'em.

Anyway, here is a quick and dirty photomerge of 3 screenshots in TS2016 of Kramer Junction. Boring subject but I was in the area and decided to try it.

Thanks guys.

Last one for today. Sullivan's curve area. 2 shots photomerged this time to reduce the distortion. Tracks from top to bottom - U.P. Canyon Siding & Main / BNSF Mains 1 & 2 / BNSF Main 3

Thanks all!

Don't have any newish new shots since I've been concentrating on track markers, speed limits, speed signs etc., but I did work the scenery a bit around Cajon for a change of pace. I was not liking the light rock color I used for the cuts, especially for the freeway in this location, so I covered them up with rock assets that more closely matched the ground color and added a bit more shrubbery to the mix. Not sure how I came across the light color in the first place but photos I have seen of this location compelled me to rethink the area.

For your consideration: (They are 3 shot panos so there is distortion, especially in the tracks in the first shot - they are straight at that location, but the point is the scenery.)

Looking in a Southwesterly direction. Rocks at Sullivan's Curve can just be seen in upper right.

Couple of miles down the track near Cajon Junction looking Northeasterly. The cuts for the freeway were glaringly bright in the rightmost 1/3 of the shot before the change.
